LEGAL / NETWORK AND SECURITY
Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Preserving the integrity, security, and neutrality of our high-speed network.
1. Fundamental Principle
The COREO.CLOUD infrastructure is designed to host critical workloads, cloud services, streaming, and high-performance applications. Any use that compromises the stability of transit nodes, violates current legislation, or harms third parties is strictly prohibited.
2. Prohibited Activities
These are considered critical violations resulting in immediate service suspension:
- Network attacks: Execution, coordination, or facilitation of DoS/DDoS attacks, unauthorized port scanning, or NTP/DNS amplification.
- Spam: Unsolicited mass mailing, hosting spam lists, or exploiting open mail proxy servers.
- Illicit content: Hosting or distributing malware, botnets, phishing tools, or any material prohibited by law.
- Identity spoofing: IP spoofing or deliberate alteration of network headers.
- Abusive mining: Use of computational resources for cryptocurrency mining that degrades the performance of shared infrastructure or the network.
- Extreme consumption: Workloads that compromise the stability of the data center infrastructure or affect third parties.
3. Abuse Claims Management (NOC)
Our abuse department investigates incoming reports 24/7. In the event of detecting incidents, the client will be notified granting a 12-hour remediation period, except for a serious or imminent threat to the network, in which case immediate filtering will be applied at the access router.
